A Sustainable Eco System for Joomla
In this session, I hope to introduce a strategy and thought process that will help make the Joomla! ecosystem more sustainable and create more opportunities for growth. I will also explore who are Joomla's users & markets and how we can best service them and also expand into newer markets. In the last 10 years, The Internet has evolved from being a geek’s paradise to a consumer ecosystem.
Parth is currently serving on the Joomla Marketing Leadership team as the
Strategic Marketing Manager & his goal is to help formulate Joomla's
marketing strategy among other things. He is the co-founder of quite a few
Joomla user groups in India viz. Pune, Mumbai & Bangalore and he helps
organize and coordinate Joomla activities in India like Joomla Days.
In addition to this he loves to help people with Joomla whether its in the Forums or
Social Media or in person.
For his day Job he's the co-founder & CEO of Techjoomla & Tekdi
Technologies where Joomla is one of the main focus areas. Techjoomla is
behind several popular Joomla products & is heavily involved in Joomla
based development. He's been involved with Joomla since the Mambo days and
loves to evangelize Open Source.
Parth speaks regularly at Joomla events worldwide & loves to promote Open Source
adoption & collaboration. When not in the office, you will find him in the
mountains hiking or cycling, reading a book, tinkering with electronics &
computers, cooking or gardening.
