Wolfgang Disch
Wolfgang is a seasoned IT professional working long years as head of software development and member of the executive team of a mobile phone distribution company. In these years he perceived the change from desktop software to web based applications. His vision is to support people with useful internet based services on mobile handsets which are easily available wherever people are.
His vision of Joomla! is to drive the project forward towards an stable product observed as framework for business projects. Currently he is working as a consultant for Internet security, PKI and telecommunications industries.
In his free time he likes to play around with Joomla! and Android, also an Open Source Project, to create mobile internet services. Wolfgang is married and has two children. He is living in Feucht, a nice place outside of Nuremberg, Germany.
